Impact of Technology

 1. Describe how jobs have evolved since year 1990 until 2010

In the past 20 years, jobs have changed in so many ways, and technology is one of the main reasons for this. Because of computers, more and more jobs can be done at home. Companies that had large offices may now smaller offices with less workers because many of their employees work from home. Computers have also made organization and sharing information easier. Now we are able to send files over the internet with a single click. This increases productivity and requires less people for work.

 -Radio
-Video
-Graphic Design

3. Identify the factors that affect job satisfaction

Job satisfaction differs from every person. Some people are happy with a boring job that makes good money. Others prefer a more entertaining job with less money. Some factors that affect job satisfaction include...
-Pay
-Personal Interests
-Location
-Customers
-life goals

4. Describe the ways that the individuals exercise control over technology

Being able to have control over our technology is key to using it. The easier it is to control, the more productive it is. Individuals exercise control in many ways, including simple ways such a keyboard and mouse, to more advanced ways like voice recognition and scripting.

5. Describe some technology first introduced as fiction that have become actual (reality)

Throughout human history, many things have been thought impossible that we have made possible. This can include...
-Airplanes
-Television
-Space Shuttles
-Computers
-Cell Phones
